Message	If the valve seals up then the cam caps are loosened, valve stem height is your issue. The only thing you could try as an interim fix if to machine the lifter where it contacts the valve stem. I'd only take off the minimum to get the valve to seal. The risk here is that you'll machine through the nitrided surface of the lifter into softer material, which will cause the lifter to fail.
